Membership Rules and Policy
- An applicant for membership must submit a letter of application to
the Secretary, naming 3 Proprietor Senior members as guarantors.
- The applicant will be asked to attend an informal meeting with 3
Board members, who are not guarantors, and who will explain the
OVH policies and answer any questions.
- Applicants for Proprietor Senior membership must cap 3 times, the cost of
which will be subtracted from their fees, if their application
is successful.
- The application will be presented at the first Board meeting after
all application requirements have been met.
- Proprietor Senior, Intermediate [16-25 years], Junior [under 16] and Child
[under 12, accompanied by a senior hunting member] have
unlimited hunting privileges. Proprietor Associates are social
members, who are welcome at all Hunt functions. Age on January 1st.
will establish membership status for the following year.
- Absentee memberships are available for inactive members who wish to
continue their association with the hunt. Certain restrictions apply.
